The ICON Yachts ship yard boasts an enormous covered dry dock, 500ft x 100ft (150 m x 30m) and 24ft (7,5m) draft, 4500ton Synchrolift and finally over 1500ft (500m) of sheltered mooring quay, allowing unrestricted access to our facilities for almost any yacht in the world. As we can simultaneously dock multiple vessels, the chance that we can accommodate your project, is considerable. The dock can also be divided into separate wet and dry sectors allowing continuation of the final commissioning to take place  whilst still fully covered and heated.

A distinct advantage is that the offices and co-maker facilities are strategically located right alongside the dry dock building with dedicated spaces and workshop facilities for each discipline. A large canteen offers round the clock hot food and beverages. The technical specialists and drawing office are also located on site. The entire location is guarded by 24hr security and only accessible via personal tags or invitation, so all movements can be tracked.

SPEED IS OF ESSENCE TO MINIMUM DOWN TIME
The ICON Shipyard dry dock features a clear height of 28m above N.A.P. which allows for almost any motor yacht to drive into the dock without dismantling or removing the top antennae mast saving time and costs. Work on the project can begin instantly without the delay and cost of having to erect a tent around the yacht. Sailing on economic cruising speed, we are only 5 days away from Gibraltar, the cost for fuel is very quickly recovered by the savings in dock rate, no need for tenting and travel and lodging for suppliers or subcontractors.
